Soak the dalia in two cups of water for thirty minutes. Drain. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds.

- Broken wheat 1 cup
- Shelled green peas 1/2 cup
- Small carrots, diced 2
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
- Small onion, chopped 1
- Medium tomato, seeded and chopped 1
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Fresh coriander leaves 2 tbsp
2 COOKING DIRECTIONS
- Soak the dalia in two cups of water for thirty minutes.
- Drain. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds.
- As they begin to change colour, add the onion and saute till pink, add the green peas, carrots and tomato and saute for one minute.
- Add the dalia and three cups of water, add salt to taste.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, fasten the lid of the pressure cooker and cook till the pressure is released twice (two whistles).
- Stir in the butter and coriander leaves and serve at once
