1 INGREDIENTS
- Liver(cut into 1 inch cubes) 500 g
- Vegetable oil 4 tbsp
- Potatoes(cut into 1 inch cubes) 250 g
- Tomatoes(finely chopped) 100 g
- Laung 4 Cloves
- Asafoetida (hing) a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Water 1 cup
- Ginger powder (sonth) 1 tsp
- Aniseed (saunf) powder 2 tsp
- Green chillies 2
2 COOKING DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed pot.
- Add the liver, potatoes, tomatoes, cloves, asafoetida, and salt.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, till the liquid dries and the oil separates.
- Mix the red chilli powder in a little water and add to the liver.
- Stir for a few seconds, then add the remaining water and bring to the boil.
- Put in the ginger powder, aniseed powder, and green chillies.
- Cook till the gravy thickens a little. Serve hot.
