Sesame Prawns

Sesame Prawns




Quick and easy when unexpected guests arrive. Fish fillet, cut into squares can be used as well.

Water is best drink have planty of it 
1   INGREDIENTS
  • 90 ml cake flour
  • 45 ml rice flour
  • 2.5 ml baking powder
  • 45 ml sesame seeds ( Thill)
  • 10 ml red curry paste or any other curry paste
  • 20 ml soy sauce or vinegar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 150 ml cold water
  • 350 gr peeled prawns
  • little extra flour
2   COOKING DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix together flour, rice flour, baking powder and sesame seeds.
  2. Using a whisk, stir in the curry paste, soy sauce, egg and water to make a thin coating batter.
  3. If a thicker paste is desired, use lesser water.
  4. Toss prawns in extra flour - dip in batter.
  5. Deep fry until golden brown.
  6. Fry on medium heat.
  7. Drain excess oil and remove from oil.
  8. Serve hot with chutneys or sauces.
