1 INGREDIENTS
- Raw bananas 2
- Green chillies 3
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coconut 1/2
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Onions 4
- Coconut oil 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves 10
- Salt to taste
2 COOKING DIRECTIONS
- Peel and cut bananas into cubes.
- Wash in a little buttermilk to remove stickiness.
- Grind green chillies and turmeric powder. Mix with bananas.
- Add salt and water and cook till bananas are tender.
- Grind together the grated coconut and cumin seeds finely.
- Add to bananas. Cook, stirring all the time. Remove.
- Heat coconut oil and fry sliced onions and curry leaves.
- When brown, add mustard seeds.
- When mustard seeds pop, pour over bananas and remove.
